Silvana Chu, (Alee & Pidang, Mezzo Soprano)
is a native from Hong Kong. She received her Bachelor degree of music at The University of the Pacific and Master degree of Music at Manhattan School of Music. Ms. Chu was featured as Mezzo soloist in performances of Mozart's Regina Coeli, Mozart 's Requim, Vivaldi's Gloria, Beethoven's Mass in C, Handel's Messiah, and Bach's St. Matthew Passion.

Ms. Chu's Operatic roles include Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro, Cenerentola in La Cenerentola , Polinesso in Handel's Ariodante, and charlotte in Massenet's Werther. In 2001, Ms. Chu has premiered an American Opera "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight" by composer Richard Peaslee with American Opera Project, and she was the winner if 2002 New Jersey Alliance of Performing artists Vocal Competition. In 2004, Miss Chu has made her Carnegie Hall debut as Mezzo soloist in Beethoven's Choral Fantasy. In fall 2005, Ms. Chu will perform a Japanese opera "Nasu no Yoichi" by composer Kazuko Hara with Harmonia Opera company.
