Carol To, (Thai, Soprano), received her Bachelor of Music and Master of Music from the Manhattan School of Music. She was recently the understudy for Tuptim in the Broadway production of The King and I and can also be heard on the original Broadway cast recording.

Other performances include Maggie on Climbing the Gold Mountain for the Chinese Theater Workshop, Wing Ho in Winchester House for Lawrence Holtzman, Sibyl Vane in Dorian Gray for the Heliotrope Group, and Emma in Flurry Tale for the American Opera Project. She has also appeared as a soloist for the New York Vocal Arts Ensemble, Handel's Messiah, Bach's Cantata No. 51 at the Alice Tully Hall, Bach's Magnificat and St. John's Passion at Trinity Church, NYC, Scarlattis' St. Cecilia Mass at the Collegium Antiquum, Mahler's Symphony No. 4 for the Aspen Reading Orchestra, the Fourth of July Gala Concert with the Santa Barbara Symphony, and Bright Sheng's NYC premier of Three Chinese Poems.

She has won the Hennessy Cognac Scholarship for the Performing Arts, the Down Town Glee Club Scholarship Winner, the Tanglewood Music Center, Pryor and Clark Scholarship, and the Aspen Music Festival Fellowship.
